I first met Bill when he joined Erie in Maryland Oh so many years ago. And was pleased that he was able to return to Erie in North Carolina where I was also working. We often call each other to discuss work and support each other. I was very saddened when I heard of his illness and passing. Bill was very likable, and had a great laugh. I miss working with him.

I am saddened to hear of Bill’s passing. I first met Bill when he came to Erie’s Raleigh Branch office and rode along with me on claims for a couple of weeks. He was a quick study, knew the claims business well, and performed his job at a high level. I will always remember his witty humor and his passion for hockey. My thoughts and prayers are with Bill’s family.

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Bill while he was in Maryland and later when he returned to the company in North Carolina. Wishing Bill’s family hope in the midst of sorrow, comfort in the midst of pain.

I was Bill Clem’s supervisor for about 10 years in Silver Spring after he was promoted to a property specialist. He was an excellent employee and an even better person. He was always ready to do what was ever possible to assist an insured/claimant or another employee. I could rely on him to handle the most difficult complicated claim, with never a complaint. He loved his hockey and golf and his two daughters. He was a good friend. My prayers go out to Donna and his family. Rest in Peace Bill.

My sympathy to all of the Clem Family. I had known Bill from our days as independent insurance adjusters and again as Property Specialists at Erie Insurance Group. He was always a great co-worker and all around professional from the old school of adjusting. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed adjusting brother/sisterhood Rest In Peace.

The Schrumps & the Rockville hockey rink folks send their heartfelt condolences to Catie, Maddie & Russ during this difficult time. Bill coached my middle son’s hockey team with Russ. My hubby skated with Bill in the adult hockey league for many years. He was a great father to Catie & Maddie. We all will miss him.
