Robert James Daniels

June 21, 1947 - April 12, 2019

It is with great sadness The Daniels family announces the passing of Robert J. “Bob” of Southport on Friday, April 12, 2019 at the age of 71 after a brief illness.

He was born in New York City on June 21, 1947.

After high school he enlisted in the US Army and served in B/782 Maintenance Battalion as a Helicopter mechanic and was honorable discharged.

He lived on Long Island, NY and New Hampshire before retiring to North Carolina. Bob had a passion for automobiles and golf. He was an excellent cook and was a resturantor. He loved a good joke, to know him was to love him.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Helen Daniels, as well as his two brothers Richard Jr. and Ronald Daniels.

Bob will be lovingly remembered by his son Robert Jr. wife Lynn and his granddaughters Victoria and Lauren, two sisters Patricia Scaturro and husband Vincent, Irene Grenda and husband Chet, and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC for the compassionate care they provided.

The memorial graveside service will be held in New Hampshire at a later date.

The family ask that in lieu of flowers donations be made to your favorite charities.

    Aw, this was a very nice post. Taking a few minutes and actual effort to produce a
    really good article… but what can I say… I put things off a lot
    and don’t manage to get anything done.
