Nancy Stewart Grabowski
March 20, 1956 - March 30, 2021

Nancy “Nana” Stewart Grabowski, 65, of Jacksonville, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021. Born Tuesday, March 20, 1956 in Beckley, WV, she was the daughter of Harley Ward and Eva Stewart Ward. She attended Cheveux College, was the manager at MCCS Camp Lejeune Youth Center and was of the Baptist faith.

Nancy loved life, she was a talented and creative jewelry maker, event planner and interior decorator. She was spunky, the comedian in the room who didn’t mind “telling you like it is!”

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Heather Darling; grandchildren, Devin Stewart, Breyonna Darling and Christian Darling; sister, Ann “Bunny” Segraves and her husband, Jody; brother, Jimmy Stewart and his wife, Kimberly; niece, Amy Hill; nephew, Ben Stewart; and her god-daughter, Star Gibbs.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Grabowski.

We extend a special thank you to her caregiver, Mela Hernandez

Our Nancy, Mom, Nana, Sister will be forever missed and remembered most for her heart of gold, her strength and the love she had for her grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life service will be held and announced by the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Arrangements are entrusted to Coastal Cremations and Funeral Care of Jacksonville.
