John Arthur Kurth, age 62 of Loris, SC, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017. He was born in Syracuse, NY on June 27, 1954 to Frederick and Bernice (Kolb) Kurth. I was stationed with john in philadelphia in 1979 thur 1980 we were roommates. My name is robert bausch john and i had some great times together. I don’t know how many times i lost his dodge pick up in philia. Maybe drank to much anf could not remember where i parked. John came to my wedding before i transfered to spain. We came to norfolk va in 1984 and seen his family there also. I am sorry for your loss . There is no friendship like a milatary friendship and i feel like i have lost a brother again.
