Debra Benson Bradford
October 14, 1953 - May 4, 2021

Debra “Debi” Bradford, 67, of Kure Beach, NC passed away on May 4, 2021 from a ruptured brain aneurysm.

She was a loving wife, an adoring mother and devoted daughter. Debi never met a stranger and will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. As a Master Gardener and an accomplished photographer, she often meshed two of her passions by taking pictures of beach sunsets, mountain ranges, and her beloved Scotland; where she would hope to catch a glimpse of her favorite Outlander character, Jamie Fraser. She loved the outdoors and in particular found a love for the rescue of sea turtles, and volunteered with her master gardener club in Wilmington.

Debi is survived by her husband, Bob Bradford, her mother Betty Benson Drake, and her daughters, Kayla, Jessica, Shannon, and Kim; along with 10 grandkids and great grandkids. Her friends and family will celebrate her life, in Kure Beach, N.C., on a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Debi’s name to the American Stroke Association, the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation, or any animal rescue.

Debi was such a warm and talented person and will be very much missed as a Master Gardener. She used her talents to produce a very professional looking Master Gardener Newsletter that we all so enjoyed for many years. My heartfelt sympathy to her family at their great loss.
