David William Cuthbert Jr., age 48 of Boiling Springs Lake, North Carolina, entered his heavenly home on May 28th, 2017, following a battle with Neuroendocrine Carcinoma. David passed away with his loving sons, siblings and mother by his side.
David was born on December 13th, 1968, to David William Cuthbert Sr. and Sally Marie Cuthbert. He married Portulaca Barry February 27th, 1990. They had two sons, David William Cuthbert III and Dillon John Cuthbert.
David loved working with Great Lakes Dredging with his father and Uncles, Wayne and George Cuthbert until a life altering car accident in 2003. David enjoyed riding dirt bikes with his two sons, David and Dillon. He had a love for baseball at a young age and continued to follow all sports until his final days. He even did his best to hang on and cheer for the Cleveland Cavaliers to continue on in the NBA finals.
He is survived by his sons, David William Cuthbert III and Dillon John Cuthbert. His mother, Sally Cuthbert; siblings, Lisa (Jeremy) Dugan (Beaman, IA) Michael Cuthbert (Boiling Spring Lakes) and Marsha Cuthbert (John) (Oak Island); along with many nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his wife, Terry Barry Cuthbert; father, David William Cuthbert Sr.; nephew, Jeffrey Bryan Schenck Jr.; his grandparents and many aunts and uncles.

My deepest condolences for you all! You guys have such an amazing close knit family! David was such a strong willed fighter! I am honored to be able to be a part of his end of life journey! Know that the family is in my prayers!
