Cecily A Blake

February 24, 1974 - August 10, 2016

Cecily Ann Blake age 42 , passed away on August 10, 2016 at home peacefully surrounded by loved ones. She was the wife of Michael Blake.

Born in Dodge City Kansas, she was the daughter of Max Bruckner Heffner III and the late Donna Ann Heffner. She was employed at New Hanover Regional Medical Center and worked as a Certified Surgical Scrub Tech and also was preceptor for the Surgical Tech program at CFCC.

Cecily will be remembered for her beautiful and resilient smile. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. Cecily had a host of friends that she loved and cherished.

Cecily enjoyed coloring, puzzle books and cross-stitch.

Cecily is survived by husband Michael Blake, son Gage Green, Father Max Bruckner Heffner III, sister Marcy Rhoe and two canine companions Loki and Thor.

The Memorial service will be held on August 15, 2016 at Scotts Hill Baptist Church at 3:00pm.
Memorial Donations can be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, Duke Cancer Clinic or the charity of your choice.

    After I initially commented I seem to have clicked on the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and
    now every time a comment is added I receive 4 emails with the same comment.
