Benjamin Bryant Huffman, Jr., 77 of Winnabow N.C. passed away Saturday, April 20th in his home.
He was born to the late Benjamin Bryant Huffman Sr. and the late Annie Mae Brown on January 12, 1942 in Wilmington NC.
He was proceeded in death by his devoted wife, Mary (Honey) Robbins Huffman, son E. G. Mintz A loving step-mother, Wilma Huffman, and a step-father, Willie Brown. A brother, Robert Ashley, Sister, Joanne Milliken, Bother-in-law, Lamar Ellis and great grandson David Alan Saari.
He is survived by his 5 children, Jimmie Mintz (Lee) of Leland, Shelly High (Stevie) of Wilmington, Shelia McKenzie (Paul) of Cades, SC, Ben Huffman (Lisa) of Winnabow and Jamie Huffman (Melissa) of Winnabow. Two Brothers, Charles Ashley of the home and Gary Dean Huffman (Faye) of Bolivia. Four Sisters, Ruby Thomas (Bill) of Winnabow, Joyce H. Ellis of Bolton, Dorothy Fowler (Phillip) of Wilmington and Alice Carter (Mike) of Boiling Spring Lakes. He had 15 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren with 2 on the way.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday the 24th at 6pm at LOVE Ministries, 1444 Lanvale Road, Leland NC 28451. Family and Friends will gather at the daughter’s home (Shelly High) 4412 Woodcroft Court, Wilmington NC 28405.
