Angela Marie Best
March 17, 1970 - October 7, 2021

Angie Marie Bolling Best, age 51 of Hampstead, NC, was called home to the Lord on October 7, 2021. Angie was born on March 17, 1970 in Wilmington, NC. She is the daughter of Judy Roberts and the late Thomas Bolling, and her stepfather Bobby Roberts.

Angie is survived by her husband of 33 years, Robbie Best; sons, Thomas Grey Best and partner, Empie Sidbury, Robert Earl Best and fiancé, Lindsey Brown, along with her son at heart, Scott Millis; sisters, Pamela Bolling and wife, Kimberly Bolling and Faith Kosh; mother in law, Claudia Best, and late father in law, Robert Best.

If you were to ask Angie what her proudest accomplishments were in life she would say her two boys, Thomas and Robert Earl. Her family was the biggest part of her life and being with them brought her the most joy. Other than being with her family, you could often find her working in her yard, gardening, and taking care of her animals. She especially enjoyed being with her furry kids, Doo Da and Chief, whom she spent every day with. Angie is also known for her love of cooking. You never left her house without being fed, in fact, her famous quote was, “if you leave here hungry, it’s your own fault.” She is most known for her fried chicken, which she enjoyed to cook for family and friends. Angie enjoyed the simple things in life, from sitting on her porch and watching the wildlife, to spending time with her loved ones. Angie touched the lives of everyone she met and will be missed dearly by all all her family and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Angie’s life will be held 2pm, Thursday, October 14,2021 at Blake’s Chapel, 88 Blakes Chapel Road, Hampstead, NC.

We are so sorry to learn of Angie’s death. We know this is a very difficult time for the family. Angie always had a greeting and smile for everyone she met. She LOVED animals-all animals and they loved her. She was ready to help anyone who needed help. Angie is dear to her loved ones and will be missed by those who knew and loved her. The following Bible Verses have been a comfort to me and others during difficult times. 11 Timothy 4:6-7; John 11: 25-27. Psalm 31:5 and Rev. 21:4 The 23rd Psalm offers much comfort to those who are mourning and filled with sadness. We are offered hope as well in John 14:1-3. “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.” 2. “In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3. “ And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”
Paul and I will be keeping the family in our thoughts and prayers.
